OF THE MONTH

Little Women by Louisa May Alcott: The story is about four sisters-- Meg, Jo, Amy, and Beth-- and follows them from their childhood to womanhood. This is actually based on Alcott's life with her three sisters. It has the humour and lightheartedness of a Jane Austen, which is why I love it so much. It is quite long because there are a lot of plot points, but it is definitely worth reading. It is a really great summer read if you're looking for more classics to venture onto or to just take a break from all the other heartbreaking stories.
